Bank of Marin Presents 2nd Annual Running Festival in Novato on Sunday, May 21
Features Olympians Alysia Montano and Sara Hall and supports important local nonprofit
NOVATO, CA – (March 14, 2017) – Bank of Marin has announced the second annual Bank of Marin Running Festival on Sunday, May 21 at Indian Valley College in Novato. The festival will feature a number of different race levels including a half marathon, 10k, 5k and races at the one-mile distance including the “Run-Like-A-Girl Race Series” for girls 12 and younger. Donations from the festival will support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Marin and Petaluma to help provide a safe place where youth can interact with caring adults.
Local Olympians Alysia Montano and Sara Hall will participate as festival ambassadors.
“Our inaugural running festival last year was such a positive experience for all who participated, from Olympians and Bank CEOs to 4-year-old girls running their first race,” said Russell A. Colombo, President and CEO, Bank of Marin. “We’re thrilled to once again be hosting an event that promotes healthy lifestyles, team building, and community engagement, all while having a great time doing it.”
